FPGA Based System Design

The FPGA Based System Design course aims to equip students with a solid foundation in designing and implementing digital systems using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). The course focuses on teaching hardware description languages like Verilog or VHDL for modeling and simulating digital logic, along with practical exposure to FPGA toolchains for synthesis, place-and-route, and implementation. Candidates will learn to build system-level designs by integrating IP cores, soft-core processors, and custom hardware accelerators. Emphasis is placed on hands-on development using industry-standard FPGA platforms, enabling learners to prototype embedded systems that combine both hardware and software components.
